Labor Day Sale & Summer Updates

END OF SUMMER DEALS

Labor day is coming up and as we enter Local’s Summer we mark down prices on summer softgoods and hardgoods. Stop in between Friday Sept. 2nd and Monday Sept. 5th for up to 70% off on a range of summer items from mountain bikes to footwear to camping accessories. We will unofficially run deals on summer gear for the remainder of the year until we switch the store over to winter mode. Past season’s skis & snowboards, outerwear, and winter hardgoods are also on sale for those who would like to get a head start on ski season planning

BIKE REPAIRS & DEMOS

Our main bike repair zone will remain open through the fall months and, moving forward, a bike stand will remain open and available for repairs throughout the year. Our full range of demo bikes will be available to rent until the first major snowfall arrives in the Tahoe Basin.

GEAR SPOTLIGHTs

To give you a little taste of what gear is still available in store, we chose a handful of products that we’re psyched about this season to help you decide which items are worth grabbing before they’re gone.

An easy-to-pack single or tandem duckie ready for weekend adventures. The Animas is highly durable and reliable in bonier sections of river while remaining stable in higher flows. The RMR is geared up as one of our rental kayak options and a go-to for staff embarking on river trips.

The Rise has been a god send for those who want to double up the mileage on their morning rides - or just can’t pedal as far as they used to. It rings in at roughly 35 lbs making it one of the lightest e-bike options on the market, while maintaining an energetic trail-bike feel with equal power and speed.

The Tuflite V-Tech is a sleek and lightweight recreational board designed with a touring shape that grants a speedier session to the casual SUPers that like to go for a higher intensity paddle. All around, the Tuflite is a cross-functional, high performance board that is easy to pack, easy to carry, and easy to maneuver.

A seriously tough, low-profile, 4wd shoe for those who like to climb mountains year round. We love the traction and support offered by the Alp Trainer and the unstoppable Goretex waterproofing that keeps feet dry on muddy, snow-laden trails.

A delightfully stiff yet sticky rubber compound on the Freeride Pro sole makes for grippy, reliable traction. While the upper boasts medium thickness & stiffness, it is surprisingly lightweight and breathable.

The swiss army knife of liquid vessels! We can’t recommend this flask enough! For those who like to car camp and bring a box full of mixing devices to make cocktails, pour overs, or tea - the HiBear Adventure Flask brings your materials down to just one bottle that does it all.
