Commencal has hit the nail on the head with a combination of clean design, balanced engineering, and the most up to date ebike motor and battery on the market. There is a lot of hype behind the new Avinox drive unit and battery, and for good reason. The new Meta Power SX boasts a motor that pushes out 150nm of torque and 1300w of peak power in boost mode. Combine that with an 800wh battery and you have yourself an ebike that is truly cutting edge in terms of electronics. Commencal hasn’t slacked on their end of package, the Meta Power SX comes with 160mm of suspension on a Fox fork and shock. TRP DH-R Evo Pro brakes provide plenty of stopping power against a tried and true SRAM Eagle 90 drivetrain that is as robust as it gets. The DT Swiss H 1900 rims laced to 370 hubs are sure to put up to many miles of use and abuse.
